SUMMER ON THE RHINE
RHYSTÄRN
From mid-June to the end of August, you can enjoy the regular evening cruise on the Rhinestärn to the small holidays in nice weather. On Tuesday, we kick off the week with sound and burgers. On Wednesday, we relax with yoga and a fine dinner on the upper deck, on Thursday we chill to Afterwork Chillout Sound, and on Friday we listen to the Summerblues bands while we sail towards the sunset.

On the Flâneur ship aka. MS Christoph Merian, various sunset parties take place in July and August. From Rock Boat to Schlager-Schiff – there is something for everyone here.

There are many reasons to enjoy an evening cruise – but only one to celebrate on Tuesday on the Rhine: The Tunesday is here!
Let Tuesday evening wind down relaxed with a cozy afterwork Cruise on the evening trips on the Rhine. Whether dancing to the best 80’s & 90’s-Tunes or just leaning back and enjoying the sunset – you decide the vibe.
Our DJane on the panoramic deck provides nostalgic sounds and danceable grooves. And only on Tunesday on the menu: juicy Burgers, with a veggie variant from Jenzer and the popular Regio-Cheeseburger with Allschwiler cheese from Milchhüsli in both Basels.
PS: For dinner on board, we recommend reserving a table online in advance. Tickets are available online or on board from the service staff.

What fits better with Rhyläxen than yoga?
Every Wednesday evening from mid-June to the end of August, activate and balance Body, Mind and Soul on the upper deck of the Rhystärn. After the yoga class, there will be an Ahoi salad bowl. With your ticket, you can stay on the ship all evening.
🔆Boarding 4:45 - 5:00 PM at the Schifflände Basel, yoga class (all levels) on the upper deck from 5:15 - 6:15 PM, disembarkation possible from 6:45 PM at the Schifflände Basel.

SUMMERBLUES ON THE RHINE
Do you feel the blues? This summer, there will again be live music every Friday evening on the panoramic deck. Also during the Summerblues Basel – the Glaibasler Blues Festival – live music will be played on the Rhystärn!
On the Friday before the Summerblues Festival, there will be a warm-up on board, and because after the festival is before the festival, we will continue with live music all summer long. We listen to various bands and musicians with a wonderful view of Basel while sailing into the sunset. Fine food and cold drinks are, of course, also part of it.
Tip: Reserve a table online in advance and enjoy a nice dinner on board while listening to the music.

Charity cruise on the Rhine in favor of "Terre des hommes" on the city and port cruise on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at 13:30 and 15:00.
